Amphibian Week was started in 2020 by the Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC) and partners as a way to increase awareness about amphibians and to celebrate all things amphibian.
Thanks for making our 2023 Amphibian Week the biggest and the best, yet! Stay tuned for updates as we look towards Amphibian Week 2024 set for Sun May 5th-Sat May 11th, 2024. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out to the PARC National Coordinators (parc_coordinators@parcplace.org). We will be adding information every couple of weeks, so please check back for more content.

Amphibian Art Contest!
Thanks to everyone who participated in our first ever Amphibian Art contest! We’ll be notifying winners soon and will be announcing them on social media.
For this contest, we had four entry categories:
- Grades K-2 students
- Grades 3-5 students
- Grades 6-8 students
- Grades 9-12 students
Winners will receive amphibian-themed prizes. All winning entries will also be posted on the Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC) website and social media pages. All contestants will be emailed a digital certificate for participating in the contest. Check out our winners below!
Amphibian Week Posters
Download our free #AmphibianWeek posters designed by ila with Frog Cult and licensed under CC by SA 3.0. Request digital files to print on your own. The link to download will come with the three posters shown below at an 8x 11″ size as well as a combined poster that is larger. To help us keep track of interest/use, we are asking you to fill out the following form. Once we receive your request, we will email you the files to print.
Education Activities
To help celebrate #AmphibianWeek, we decided to put together a list of different activities and lesson plans that educators can use with students of all ages. Check out our Amphibian Week 2023 Activities guide (PDF) which breaks up ideas into different grade bands, provides additional resources, and provides a list of children’s books to learn and teach about amphibians.
